Medaille d'Excellence 2004 Laureate
Celebrating the best that is within each of us and among our global community on the occasion of the eve of the 100th anniversary of the first Olympic Games in the USA (1904), the twentieth anniversary since the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, and as a warm welcome to 2004's global Olympic Torch Run whose motto is "Pass the flame...Unite the world," Wilda Spalding of the sports family, A.G. Spalding & Bros., the International Human Rights Consortium (IHRC/CIDH, she founded), and the Bozzi Family at their Star Eco Station (2001 Medaille d'Excellence Laureates), with other local groups representing the diversity fo greater Los Angeles, welcomed Deaf Kids Kamp as a 2004 Medaille d'Excellence 2004 Laureate on June 15, 2004. The 2004 Medaille d'Excellence Laureates were announced in Geneva, Switzerland, in March 2004.
On this evening, the 2004 Laureates were recognized for their leadership, innovation, and dedication to bringing out the best in others, by presenting them with the gold international Medaille d'Excellence, hand-crafted by the artist who made the Olympic medals for the Moscow Olympic Games.
