Kamp Staff All Deaf Kid's Kamp staff is comprised of hearing and deaf individuals who have met the following qualifications: 18 years of age (with the exception of Counselors in Training 13-17 years of age) Communicate in sign language Possess current CPR and First Aid cards Completed an extensive hiring process, including: - A panel interview - Reference checks - Fingerprint clearance with the California Dept. of Justice - Have attended various American Camping Assn. and Sproul Ranch Inc. activities prior to the start of each Deaf Kid's Kamp season. This year we will allow a maximum of 30 kampers and a minimum of 15 staff. .
